Sama Zakaria Mubarak

Sama was born a different child suffering from autism spectrum disorder. She was not accepted by school by chance. At the age of 4 years, she discovered Sama drawing expressive drawings. I, her mother, confirmed this talent and provided her with drawing supplies and artificial clay to make models of the cartoon characters she loves. An autism specialist doctor, Dr. Hala, advised me. From America, Sama followed Sama to have a page on social media, and Sama began to be known by many great artists and painters, and they encouraged Sama to continue drawing and develop her talent, including the painter Hamed Saeed and the international sculptor Ahmed Al-Bahrani. Of course, Sama learned to read and write at home and was fluent in English. At the age of 12, Sama entered Al-Yafat School for Accelerated Education Now, Sama is in the final stage of accelerated education, and my wish is for her to obtain the primary certificate and continue to enter the Institute of Fine Arts. Sama learned drawing and sculpture by nature. She did not enter any training course, and Sama continued to be encouraged by the artist Ahmed Al-Bahrani. A model of Sama’s works in the State of Qatar. Art was considered a cure for Sama, as many of her autism symptoms subsided and she became a calm child after suffering from nervousness and hyperactivity. She became an activist advocating for the rights of autistic children in festivals and conferences related to autism.
