Nationality: Iraqi Born in 1975 Member of the World Portrait Society Participated in numerous group exhibitions in Iraq, Jordan, and abroad. My work has been exhibited in most Arab and foreign countries. Including my participation in an exhibition in Glasgow, England, in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, where I won first prize. I also won first prize in a nature painting competition held in Spain in 2012. And I won first prize in portraiture at a competition held in Milan, Italy in 2014. Acquisitions My paintings were acquired by the Louvre Museum in Paris and are now in its collections. Two of my paintings were also acquired by the Fujairah Museum in Dubai. I worked as a painter at the University of Jordan. Now I teach at my art center. “What I look for as a painter is a vibrant work of art that reflects life. The human figure has always been a fundamental element in most of my work, and I have always strived to portray it in the most beautiful way possible in terms of scene and color.” And the surrounding atmosphere. An artist must express their unique aesthetic vision in their artwork through color variations, carefully crafted compositions, meticulous attention to color perspective, and the rearrangement and simplification of the work’s constituent elements. My primary source of inspiration is my environment and what surrounds me. My goal is to touch the viewer’s feelings in a purely human way, free from any intellectual biases or cultural symbols. I interpret what interests me based on what I see around me, from the scene itself to its minute details, the psychological tension between people, a state of mind, or an opportunity to express feelings that cannot be described in words. I do not aim to criticize anyone, whether an individual, a society, or even an ideology. Rather, I strive to evoke the innocent spirit within each person. I hope my work offers the viewer a space that transports them from their everyday world to realms that stir their innate senses, enrich their visual and aesthetic sensibilities, and stimulate their creative thinking.
